Andrea AddisonAs an actor I have always felt pressure to have the ‘perfect’ body. In the past, the lead up to filming has always been a stressful time for me. In preparing for my latest film, I was introduced to Michelle. Her vibrancy alone had me hooked. She was fit, healthy, glowing, happy and had a sense of peace in herself. I wanted to know her secret.

I had always thought of myself as a fit and reasonably healthy person. My goal was always to feel confident in myself, energetic, well rested, well balanced, with clear skin, looking fit and healthy. I had tried everything including paleo (caveman diet), gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, blood type diet, fruit & sugar free diet, and the most recent was the body builder’s diet with lots of WHEY & CASEIN protein powders, fat burners and many other supplements.

Mentally I was exhausted from the rollercoaster of pinning my hopes on each of these new ways of eating, only to be left hungry, with bad skin, lethargic, moody and stuck in a rut. Physically my body had plateaued and I was left disheartened.

On a cellular level, I had a poorly functioning liver, adrenal fatigue and was extremely mineral deficient (The natropath said it was as if I had been eating cardboard for two years). My moods and hormones were all over the place.

Nothing could describe the relief I felt when I found Michelle.

Andrea Addison with MichelleWhat did you gain on your Nazafit journey?

When I received Michelle’s plan I was so happy to see all the wonderful food I could eat! FRUIT!!!! CARBS!!!! No processed foods!!!! I was encouraged to have avocados, coconut oil…fats!

The exercise plan had different things to do each week which kept thing exciting and I am now doing cardio smarter, not harder =) My body responded so well and so fast, I was able to achieve the fit and healthy look I wanted for the film role and for my life.sed foods!!!! I discovered a new meaning to feeling full. It’s hard to explain but after a meal, I don’t feel physically full, but nutritionally full. I feel cleansed, energised and satisfied on a level I had never felt before.

My skin is clearing up and is much less oily. My nails are stronger and my moods feel a lot more stable. I feel like I can relax now, knowing I’ve finally found a way of eating that works. A way of living that keeps me energised and ready for any job that may come up.

Andrea Addison 3I also gained a new friend in Michelle. She is really supportive and has taught me so much about nutrition and in an un-expected way- taught me so much about myself.

My Nazafit success I am most proud of is?

I am proud to say that I was able to follow the program and embrace this new way of life because it just felt so right. I’m now drinking 3L of water a day easily and I make healthy decisions based on how amazing I want to feel, not because I want to fit into a size 8 pair of jeans. I look forward to glowing even more & growing stronger as I continue on this way of life.
